Reported Activity:

The Lighthouse Oceanfront Resort Cottages in Long Beach has at least two resident ghosts in original 1950 motel units 101 and 105. The resort manager said the ghosts are friendly and have proven popular with visitors. The ghosts at this resort have proven to be popular among the guests. In fact, visitors who stay in rooms 101 and 105 are encouraged to document their haunted experience in the journal provided by the hotel. Guests have documented bizarre occurrences such as the furniture rearranging on its own, TVs turning on and off, rocking chairs that rock themselves and whispering in customer’s ears.

Our Investigation:

When: June 6, 2021 2:30 PM to June 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM

Who: 8 Investigators participated from WestSound Paranormal

Where: Lighthouse Oceanfront Resort – Longbeach, WA. We reserved cottages 101, 103, 105 and 106 We want to Thank the staff at the Lighthouse Oceanfront Resort for being so helpful and accommodating.

Equipment used – EMF readers, K-II meters, Video Cameras, DVR, Trail cams, Audio recorders, digital cameras, flashlights and Spirit box, SLS Camera.

Set up Four Trail Cams (motion detected) one in each room.

The weather was stormy outside with the wind blowing and the rain coming down hard at times.

Normal activity outside and quiet time at 10 pm.

Cottages 101 and 105 appeared to have the most activity. One investigator saw a shadow figure in Cottage 101. EVP sessions were performed in all 4 rooms. Rooms 101 and 105 had interesting results while using two flashlights during several EVP sessions. During each session, one flashlight was selected for yes answers and another flashlight was used for no answers.
