History:

It was 1899 when the Hodgens Ryan Mansion was built by Thomas Hodgens, a member of the High Society of Butte, Montana. The Hodgens Ryan Mansion is a 2 and 1/2 story, T-shaped Classical Revival house of 20 spacious rooms of very intricate architecture. Today it is a primary structure in the Butte National Landmark District.

There are nine rooms that can be rented. Four of the rooms are very large, have antique furnishings and fixtures, and a private bathroom. Every guest has 24/7 access to the fully equipped kitchen, large dining room, and living room and sitting areas. There is a coin-operated washer and dryer on-site, as well as exercise equipment. Televisions with Direct Satellite are present in each room. There is even an outdoor grill if you want to spend time outside. You can barbeque and enjoy your meal relaxing on the porch.

There is also an On-Site Manager, who was raised in Butte and is more than willing to give recommendations of where to go and what to see in the city or in the surrounding countryside. It is easy to fill up many days of fun and have breathtaking and/or knowledge-building experiences in the Butte, Montana area.

Reported Paranormal Activity:

Paranormal activity is not widely heard of at the Hodgens-Ryan Mansion. We heard a few tales and decided to stay here while investigating a near by business.

Our Paranormal Investigation:

We spent the night here on Sept 13, 2013. The same night we investigated the Dumas Brothel. The team experienced no paranormal activity. If, after reviewing our evidence we find something we will post it here.
